C4GW is a 1-2 day program designed to help you and your managers engage, develop and leverage others fast. Unlike all the other coach training programs we’ve seen, it’s designed to operate in the time-strapped reality of today’s manager.
Why a coaching program?
These are uncertain times. The global economic slowdown is not just news in the media. It’s a reality already being felt in every organization, in every team. The path ahead is less clear than before, tension is up and uncertainty is rife.
Now more than ever, managers are responsible for keeping those around them focused on what matters, resilient to what comes, confident and performing at their very best.
Coaching effectively doesn’t have to be a “black-art,” require years of training, the perfect personality type or as much time as you think. Indeed, when you have a straight-forward paint-by-numbers system you can capture the bulk of the value coaching has to offer very quickly and easily.
Why Most Other Coach Training Fails
(and what we did about it)
Coaching for Great Work is built around the realities of business and around the four critical points of resistance that stop managers and leaders fully incorporating coaching into their leadership toolkit.
- It’s not really relevant to my business goals
C4GW makes coaching relevant by directly connecting the learning to both the participants’ business and personal goals. - I don’t have the skills
C4GW focuses on three simple, powerful and flexible processes rather than more elusive coaching skills so coaching is accessible and as flexible as possible. - I don’t have time
The C4GW coaching process demonstrates that a coaching moment can (and should) take less than ten minutes. - I can’t remember what I learned
C4GW is extremely simple, easy to learn, apply and remember. The program also provides a comprehensive post-workshop follow up, to ensure the best chance of learning and implementation.
Some of the results you can expect:
C4GW allows managers and leaders to bring greater focus, courage and impact to the work they do. It allows them to:
- Create the time and space to focus on what is most important, so that being busy isn’t confused with having an impact
- Get clearer on the real challenges, so they don't waste time working on the wrong issues
- Generate a wider range of options, so they have richer choices about what to do
- Build the right type of relationships with the right people at the right time, rather than being hampered by silos and hierarchy
- Have the right people working on the right tasks, so that people are doing their best possible work
Structure of the Program
Coaching for Great Work is a 1-2 day program offered exclusively in-house for groups of 12-18 participants. The foundation of the program is delivered in Day 1. The extended two-day version provides a unique opportunity to customize and apply the material to a current specific business challenge participants are facing.
